Who is Ecocraft India?

Ecocraft India is a small team with a big dream. We work closely with village artisans who still follow our age-old traditions. Our goal is simple — to bring their handmade clay pots, bronze utensils, and cast iron cookware into homes across the world.

We believe in our roots. While the world is moving fast, we choose to go back — to natural, traditional, and healthy ways of cooking. Every product we sell is made with love, using hands instead of machines, by people who have been doing this for generations.

By supporting Ecocraft, you're not just buying cookware — you’re supporting a village, an artisan, a tradition. You’re helping us build a better future for rural families and giving their craft a global stage.

Our Vision

To revive India’s traditional cookware heritage by empowering rural artisans and bringing handcrafted, eco-friendly products like clay, bronze, and cast iron cookware into every modern kitchen — across India and around the world.

We envision a future where healthy cooking meets timeless tradition, and village craftsmanship finds a proud place in the global market.

Founder’s Note

My name is Ashik T A, and I’m the founder of Ecocraft. Back in 2015, I was working at Infopark, living a fast-paced life filled with deadlines. I was living alone, cooking for myself, and always trying to recreate the homely taste of food. But no matter how hard I tried, something always felt missing. That’s when I began to understand that even the utensils we use can affect the taste of food. I started reading more about it and soon realized that most people focus on healthy ingredients but never think about their cookware. That’s when a question kept coming to my mind: we’re all trying to eat healthy, but are we cooking healthy?

As I looked deeper, I found a big gap. Traditional and eco-friendly cookware like clay pots and bronze vessels were rarely available online. Most were sold only in small local shops or at seasonal village exhibitions. I also love to travel, and during my trips, I started asking about traditional cookware in other states. I heard the same thing everywhere, very few shops, very little availability, but a lot of interest. That’s when I knew I had to do something. I started small, working with just a few local artisans.

In 2017, with no investors and no office, just strong belief, I started Ecocraft. My vision was simple: to bring back India’s traditional cookware and make it easily available for every modern kitchen, so anyone could cook the traditional way with ease. I worked closely with rural artisans who had incredible skills but no platform to share their work.

The early days were tough. Products broke during delivery, and we didn’t even have a website. I began with a few listings on Amazon, very little money, and no experience. But I didn’t give up. We kept learning, improving, and building trust step by step. Customers also became aware of how fragile these products are, and together we found the best packing methods to deliver them safely, and they trust us now.

Today, Ecocraft has served over 25 lakh customers, sold more than 1 crore products, and ships to over 15 countries. Today, we proudly work with more than 200 skilled artisans across the country. Our range includes clay pots, bronze cookware, cast iron pans, and wooden utensils, all handmade, safe, and rooted in tradition.

This journey is not just mine. It belongs to the artisans who shape every product, the customers who believed in us, and the team who worked hard every day. At Ecocraft, we believe that healthy cooking starts with healthy cookware, that handmade matters, and that every home deserves a touch of tradition.

Every piece of our cookware carries the warmth of tradition. Inspired by the timeless art of seasoning, our team at Getkitch carefully apply layer upon layer of pure, natural oils with rice water. Through heat and dedication, the cookware develops its signature non-stick surface – a testament to resilience and craftsmanship. Each mark, each gleam, tells a story.
